The American Freedom Train in Sioux City, Iowa
September 12-14, 1975

The train's 30th display city.

The train displayed along Jackson Street.

At right: Sioux City resident Ken Brown, who was 15 when the train displayed on the Milwaukee Road mainline through town -- behind the Hinky Dinky grocery store, Rodeway Inn, and Kidder-Knofler Chevrolet between Pierce St. and Jennings St.

The 4449 was parked on a side track around Jackson St.

While the former Milwaukee tracks through downtown are still there, the line the train left town on is now completely gone.
