November 11-14, 1975

The train's 42nd display city.

Displayed at Portland Union Station.

A fireboat on the river saluteed 4449's triumphant return home.

US Bancorp, with a large Portland presence, featured the 4449 locomotive on the cover of their employee magazine for Vol 29, No 4.

Inside, bank employees volunteering to help in the restoration of the locomotive were featured.

Here, volunteers Dave Anderson and John Mull stand by the disassembled locomotive.
