American Freedom Train
Display Car #110
"Conflict and Resolution"

The car carried artifacts related to our greatest trials and tribulations. Among its holdings were Abraham Lincoln's stovepipe hat, a preliminary copy of the Emancipation Proclamation, Franklin D. Roosevelt's December 8, 1941 War Message to Congress, John F. Kennedy's rocking chair, Martin Luther King's vestments and Bible, and Gerald R. Ford’s Presidential Inauguration Bible.

Originally NYC baggage car #9104, the car appears on page 67 of Michael W. Flick and John R. Signor's 2023 book Santa Fe Passenger Train Compendium in its NYC livery (because it spent considerable time criss-crossing the country on mail trains carried by various roads).

Photographed at Minneapolis.
