American Freedom Train
Medals by Medallic Art Company

The official American Freedom Train medal was designed by sculptor Marcel Jovine of Turin, Italy, then residing in Closter, NJ. The medal was offered for sale in various sizes in gold, vermeil, silver and bronze.

Gold 18 karat 1.25-inch Medal

This 1.25 inch (32mm) diameter 1oz. solid 18K gold medal was produced by the Medallic Art Company and available directly from the company.

Limited to 500 individually numbered pieces. Original price: $400.

Like the large fine silver medal, this version came in a blue velvet box.

The original information release did not mention these 2.5" bronze medals being individually numbered, but apparently they were.

Some unnumbered 2.5" bronze medals were used to create "Thank You" awards for AFT host committees.

This 1.5 inch diameter .999 fine silver medal was produced by the Medallic Art Company.

This version of the medal was enclosed in a clear (removable) Lucite holder and available only at train display sites. Original price: $25
