American Freedom Train Reunion 2004 The 2004 reunion was supposed to be a cruise to the Bahamas aboard the Carnival ship Fascination out of Miami, FL, much like the 1986 reunion had been. The dates would have been September 03-06. Laurie McCormack (with the help of friend Melody at Centennial Travel) secured great rates and made meticulous plans for a cruise to be remembered. But, mother nature had other plans. Hurricane Ivan shut it all down. In the aftermath of the canceled reunion it was decided that Gail Stracke would host a 'make-up' reunion in New Orleans in 2005. They hadn't had a bad hurricane in a long time. What could go wrong? |
