The American Freedom Train in Elmont, New York

Billed as the New York City stop, the train displayed at Belmont Park racetrack on tracks 6,7,8. Flats were stored at Queen's Village Team Track nearly a mile away. The steam locomotive could not move with the train through the Conrail (Ex-PC) tunnel under NYC, so it stayed behind and rejoined the train later.
