The first version of the official AFT program had a cover that featured a solid red border. The back was a collage of photos that would soon change in subsequent versions.

The illustrated, full-color program consisted of 28 pages telling about the train and its contents.

Two pages were dedicated to each of the 10 display cars.

The last three pages and the inside back cover gave a listing of each of the 512 artifacts the train carried (another thing that would be updated in subsequent versions) and who had been responsible for donating their use.
