John
assembled quite a nice O scale model of the American Freedom Train.
Plenty of pictures here for anyone interested in doing the same...

The
centerpiece of John's vast collection. His copy of the book All
Aboard America signed by many of the AFT crew in 1975-76 and then
by former President Ford just after the turn of the century. John
sent the book to his assistant hoping Ford would sign it. He did
-- on the page with the photo of him dedicating the AFT from the
observation car of the Preamble Express in Alexandria, VA Dec. 19,
1974.
