John enjoys taking his collection to train shows. This time he had space to stretch out his O scale model -- which still needed three tiers to fit.

(In all, the model is over 50 feet long.)

What was left of the AFT display cars was cut up in the Nevada desert in 1995. John visited the site where they were scrapped and recovered some small pieces of the train.
